Heidi Klum was just about to announce the evening's decision to her GNTM models - when the police arrived and put an end to the filming.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife – Heidi Klum (50) is looking for two new top models – because on GNTM she is choosing a man and a woman for the first time in season 19.
Before that happens, the candidates still have to overcome a few hurdles.
In the episode from March 21, 2024, the team poses a danger to air traffic. This leads to the filming being canceled.

Last week, some GNTM models caused an uproar with an outrageous reaction to designer Marina Hoermanseder (38) - and episode six is no less dramatic.
The big makeover is coming up and the male models in particular are complaining non-stop at the hairdresser.
Ultimately, most of the candidates are satisfied with their new look and present it at the decision walk in the opera house in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
But when it slowly gets dark and Heidi Klum announces her decision for the evening, a huge problem arises.

For the models Franz (19) and Livingsten (23), the adventure on “Germany's Next Top Model” is over.
The head judge then wants to tell the women who will move on to the next round and who has to pack their bags.
But that doesn't happen as planned.
A production employee rushes over and interrupts filming.
“We got a call from the airport that our lights were blinding the pilots,” he tells the surprised Heidi Klum and even adds: “The police have already been there twice.” The only solution: a quick decision and the end of filming .

After the first “Germany's Next Top Model” fashion show (third episode on February 29th), viewers on the
X
platform (formerly Twitter) complained that men and women did not compete in the casting format under the same conditions.
Many people find it unfair that men walk down the catwalk in sandals while women have to perform in high heels.
In episode six, the female candidates also complained that their male competitors had it easier.
However, Heidi Klum emphasized that women and men are not compared to each other anyway.

“We have to make a group decision.
“We have to get all the girls out and stop filming,” the production employee announces the next steps.
And in fact: All other candidates have to gather in front of Heidi Klum as quickly as possible - because further endangering air traffic is of course not an option for anyone.
The supermodel ultimately makes the decision to send Leoni (25) home with a heavy heart - she didn't show enough self-confidence even after her makeover.

Heidi Klum finds it hard to believe that the shoot will end so quickly.
“I thought I had experienced everything in 19 years of GNTM, but that has really never happened before.
We're in the middle of the decision when I get the news that our lamps are so bright," she says in the interview, shocked.
In another episode, the model completely missed a decision - Heidi Klum was out of action and had to be represented on GNTM.
