The flood of the Seine is over, but the level of the Parisian river is still high, this Friday March 22.

On the deck of the “Son de la Terre”, this barge moored at the Montebello quay (Ve), the few staff on board are swaying.

A concert is planned this evening, with around forty guests in an exceptional setting, facing Notre-Dame de Paris, whose restored spire can be seen in the sky of the City of Lights.

Inaugurated last year, this floating commercial building benefits from an advanced connection system.

Two lifting pumps, under the sanitary facilities and the kitchen, collect the boat's wastewater and then evacuate it to the Parisian sanitation network.

“There is pressure with the Olympics coming up,” notes Éric Mérour, operations director.

There was no evacuation structure two years ago, now everything is in order.
