“I regret to announce to you today that nothing has changed.”
Six months after the disappearance of the 15-year-old girl on September 23 in Alsace, her mother Fanny and her lawyer spoke at a press conference this Friday, March 22.
“When I question the investigating judges, I have the same answer: because their workload is so heavy, that the return of the gendarmes' work has still not been done
,” continued the council, Me Matthieu Airoldi, before insisting:
“My client needs to know, as a mother!
She is at the center of the investigation, while not being informed!”
Lina's mother and her counsel also mentioned, again, the complaint filed by the young girl in June 2022 - the teenager was aged 13 - against two young adults for gang rape during an after- lunch with friends.
Once dismissed, the complaint will today be the subject of a new legal study by the Strasbourg public prosecutor's office, which Mr. Matthieu Airoldi welcomed.
Association for his daughter
Very distressed, Lina's mother also announced the creation of an association dedicated to her missing daughter, “Lina's Good Stars”.
“We hear anything and everything right now.
This association will aim to do everything for Lina
,” she indicated, before announcing the holding of a solidarity concert, in the town of Plaine (Bas-Rhin), on April 20, where investigators lose track of the young girl.
“If anyone remembers anything.
If he has forgotten something, a detail, it must be said.
I encourage anyone who has something to say to testify.
The slightest clue is good to take
,” she insisted.
While the mystery remains, the teenager's mother finally castigated the numerous online reactions as well as the work of "certain media", after Lina's disappearance.
“People allow themselves to make horrible thoughts, deductions, interpretations.
This is no longer possible.
We can no longer let this happen without reacting
,” she insisted.
“There are social networks, but also other newspapers, which do not produce information, but disinformation.
This is completely detrimental to the investigation.
It’s Lina’s life we’re talking about.”
