Galenic science in DNA

Since its creation by Pierre Fabre, visionary pharmacist, the brand has offered itself the luxury of revolutionary expert formulas, prioritizing scientific research and offering factual, measurable and visible results.

Galénic has raised the standards of beauty by bringing science and pharmaceutical rigor into its products.

The name of the brand "Galénic" is a tribute to galenic science with a dual approach: the assimilation and penetration of ingredients by the skin while preserving their effectiveness, in order to stimulate cellular activity in the epidermis.

As a true pillar, science continues to guide Galénic in a vision: to make the dream of high-end care tangible to always elevate the beauty experience to its peak.

A new research center

In 2023, Galénic inaugurated its first research and development center in Toulouse.

An unprecedented scholarly ambition, bringing together expert dermatologists, master formulators, and engineers.

The purpose of this research site of more than 650 m?

Strengthen the brand's ability to create exclusive, tailor-made and unique innovations.

Galénic aims to develop avant-garde skin care products, putting science at the heart of its projects, to offer consumers high-quality products that are ever more innovative and effective, as its founder Pierre would have wished. Fabre.

A unique endowment fund

Committed to human adventures, Galénic launched the Galénic Dermatology Research Fund last September, a fund whose main objective is to financially support innovation and cutting-edge research in the field of French dermatology.

For this, the brand has surrounded itself with a scientific committee of 7 experts from prestigious institutions.

To name a few, Professor Jean-David Bouaziz, president of the dermatological department at Saint-Louis hospital, Professor Romain Fontaine, head of the “Genetic and cellular plasticity” research axis at the Cochin Institute or even Professor Nausicaa Malissen, dermatologist and venereologist in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Cancerology at La Timone Hospital.

Their missions: to study the applications and select the most innovative projects with scientific interest and a high potential for significant progress in dermatology.

This year, the board awarded €100,000 to 4 innovative projects by French dermatology researchers, committing the brand to ever more avant-garde knowledge of skin mechanisms.

Discoveries on autophagy, neuroimmune interactions, bioavailability and epigenetics are all avenues that will thus be able to be explored in greater depth.

More than sponsorship, it's a philosophy: at Galénic, we are convinced that only the collective will open the way to unprecedented advances, consequently allowing the creation of innovative products.

Galéniceuticals, an expert line

With its Galeniceuticals range, Galénic demonstrates its know-how in galenic science.

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that may provide several therapeutic benefits for the skin.

Serum No. 1 is scientifically formulated with a high concentration of 20%, which can potentially improve its effectiveness.

A stable form of vitamin C is used to prevent oxidation and maintain its effectiveness over time.

The formulation is designed to penetrate deep into the skin, allowing vitamin C to exert its effects at the cellular level, which can maximize its benefits for the skin.

The result is unrivaled radiance, an even complexion and reduced dark spots: results clinically tested under dermatological control.

Results that speak for themselves: after 60 days of treatment, we note an increase of 72%* in the luminosity and radiance of the complexion, an improvement of 73%* in the homogeneity of the complexion and 57%* increase in skin smoothing.
