Putin is increasing air defense measures at critical locations.
The Panzerir system is intended to protect oil production - the Ukrainian military disagrees.

After the Syzran refinery was attacked by Ukrainian kamikaze drones, the Kremlin responded on Tuesday (March 19) with an announcement that it would increase its defense capabilities at critical locations in Russia.

However, according to information from the Ukrainian military, the announcement is just another attempt at propaganda by Putin.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov, gave his assessment and contradicted the account: “The Panzerir systems are already stationed there;
this declaration is intended to dampen public outcry and redirect budget resources.
These claims will not significantly change the situation;
The problems will continue at the occupier’s military-used companies.”
Ukraine records successes against Russian infrastructure: Russia's oil is running out
After Kiev recently recorded some successes in destroying Russian infrastructure in the Ukraine war - especially oil depots and refineries - the Kremlin is in need of explanation.
Drones were repeatedly able to hit Putin's Achilles heel due to Russia's porous air defenses.
Due to the current attacks, the Russian autocrat is losing a lot of profit and the military equipment also urgently needs fuel.
These attacks are therefore devastating for Russia in two ways.

According to a calculation by the

news agency , Ukraine was able to reduce Russian oil production by around 7 percent through its attacks.
It also seems negligent that Russia is only now increasing air defense on strategically important infrastructure.
The drone attacks on Russian oil have been in full swing since January and were even announced by the Ukrainian side beforehand.
Kiev has already successfully carried out between twelve and 15 such attacks.
