The endogenous terrorist threat continues to weigh on France.
A 14-year-old teenager was arrested on Wednesday and then placed under judicial supervision for planning an attack against a shopping center in Lille,

learned from a judicial source this Friday March 22, confirming information from BFMTV.
Domiciling in the north of France, the boy is suspected of having relayed propaganda from the Islamic State,
"whose ideology he clearly shared"

He also reportedly considered committing an attack against the Euralille shopping center.
He had obtained the plans of the establishment on the internet.
“Avenge the Prophet”
During a conversation with strangers on Telegram, an encrypted messaging application, he also reportedly expressed the wish to carry out an attack in his college, to
“avenge the prophet who was caricatured”
.
With his contacts, he would have expressed his support for Daesh, while urging them to join him.
In search of
“material”
, he also sought information on the dark web.
During a home visit, investigators from the Lille judicial police found several hundred pro-jihadist videos on his cell phone.
Placed in police custody, he was presented to an anti-terrorism investigating judge who indicted him for terrorist conspiracy with a view to preparing one or more crimes against people.
He was also indicted for direct provocation of an act of terrorism committed by means of an online communication service.
He was placed under judicial supervision, as requested by the Pnat.
Investigations are continuing
