Windsor – In January, Kate Middleton (42) had to undergo abdominal surgery.
Kensington Palace said in an initial announcement that she would take a break until after Easter to recover.
The long stay in the clinic (13 days) and the even longer regeneration phase caused a lot of speculation and a lot of fuss.
The princess' clean slate received a major crack when she edited a picture of herself and her children on Mother's Day, jeopardizing the trust of some fans.

The breeding ground for all speculation and conspiracy theories that have arisen is the uncertainty, the transparency, the gap that King Charles (75) closed from the start by being open about his cancer.
What the Princess of Wales is suffering from, however, remains unknown to this day.
An insider reports in the Sunday Times that Kate will speak about the reason for her long absence when she is fully recovered and the moment is right.

“They [William and Kate] are most open when interacting with members of the public and I can imagine a world where the Princess could speak about her healing at events.
It would be their way,” the source suspects.
Prince William supported his wife's strategy of secrecy and recovery isolation.
He would never present her medical history on behalf of his wife.

A friend added, according to
the Mirror
: "They will want to be clearer and more open, but they will do it when they feel ready."
She assumes that their decision to talk about the illness is instinctive.
However, she believes in Kate and William's prudence: "They won't rush into anything."

This results in the following conditions under which Princess Kate will open her medical records: She would have to be back in the public service and fulfill her duties.
Then it is conceivable that she could make private confessions about her illness at a charity event that, in her eyes, deserves the most attention.
Sunday Times correspondent Roya Nikkhah, recalled that Kate Middleton has been down this path before.
During a visit to the Orchards Center in Kent last year, she recalled being diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum in the early weeks of her pregnancy with Prince George.
