The relatives of Sivan Alkabats, who was murdered together with her partner, Noor Hassidim, in the terrorist attack by Hamas on October 7, will hold a reading of the Esther Book tonight (Saturday evening) at her home in the Dor HaHasir neighborhood in Kfar Gaza.
Sivan is the daughter of the former Gali commander of the IDF, Shimon Elkabats. Her mother, Anati, set up an exhibition in what remains of Sivan's house - where her relatives will read the scroll tonight.

After the announcement of Alkabatz's death on behalf of Gali the IDF, it was stated that "the station participates in the deep sorrow of the Alkabatz family for the death of Sivan, who was murdered in the murderous terrorist attack, by the sons of Awala in Gaza City.
"Gali IDF wishes for the speedy return of the abductees, for the recovery of the wounded, and shares in the grief of the families of the murdered and the IDF dead," they added.
