About a week ago, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 hit Tiberias and other settlements in the north of the country.
As a result, alarms were activated in several centers throughout the Jordan Valley, and the residents of the area were asked to evacuate the buildings they were in.
"It really felt like a wave. It was like this noise of something moving already in the distance, then the ground moved with the chair and things on the table started shaking and stopped," testified one of the residents.
"The whole bed just moved," testified a resident of Tiberias.
"The whole house shook to me."
Another resident reinforced the claims: "The house shook really hard. Even the parrot's cage fell from the force."
The earthquake was also felt in Haifa and the municipality stated that no damage was reported as a result of the earthquake.
Earthquake alerts were activated in three schools in the city.
The students of the schools were quickly and safely evacuated outside the school buildings and after performing a scan and receiving the permission of the CBAs, they returned to regular studies.
