Airy views into the blue: Impressive tour to the Plattberg
On most maps it is called Hochschrutte, but the Tyroleans say Plattberg or Blattberg.
The second highest massif in the Ammergau Alps offers a sunny climb and a magnificent panorama well below the summit.
Double beauty: promising tour on the water wall and Heuberg
Anyone driving through the Bavarian part of the Inn Valley will notice a wild rock formation on the Chiemgau side near Brannenburg.
But Wasserwand and especially Heuberg are easy to reach without having to scramble!
Three-peak tour behind Bayrischzell
Anyone who takes the toll road to the Ackernalm shortly after the origin pass near Bayrischzell usually hikes to the Hintere Sonnwendjoch.
Directly opposite is much quieter and at least as promising.
