A senior Israeli official noted that during the talks a significant gap was revealed between the parties regarding the prisoners' keys.
According to him, the US put a compromise proposal on the table in the matter. Israel responded positively to the American compromise proposal.

"We are now waiting for Hamas' answer. The negotiations are not simple.
There are significant differences of opinion, but an effort is being made to reach an agreement.
The head of the Mossad and the rest of the negotiating team remain in Qatar at this stage," the Israeli official said.
