One of the main changes to “Let's Dance” 2024 is currently causing a lot of fan turmoil.

Now professional dancer Christian Polanc also commented – he is not enthusiastic.

Cologne – The show format “Let's Dance” is one of the most successful programs on RTL.

Celebrities have been dancing with a professional for the coveted trophy for years.

However, a serious change has now occurred.

It's not just fans and viewers who aren't really convinced.

Dance professional Christian Polanc (45) is also skeptical.

“Let's Dance” professional Christian Polanc comments on the new design of the dance studio

This year not only are new professionals taking part, the studio also shines in new splendor.

The dance-filled halls of the RTL studio welcome the celebrities and professionals with a completely new look.

But it's not just the viewers who are discussing the "Let's Dance" studio, the former professional dancer also has his say.

“I'm still unsure what to think of the studio,” Christian Polanc remarked at the start of the

The conversion by no means happened overnight.

Already after the end of the 16th season, work on the Cologne studio was indicated.

As the responsible executive producer Stefanie Frebel reported to the media portal

, some studio elements date back to the early days.

Although the new technology enables a new staging, which Polanc also sees as an advantage, the decor is still very unusual.

After all, it used to be red everywhere, unlike now.

These stars will be dancing on “Let’s Dance” 2024

Included are Maria Clara Groppler, Tony Bauer, Sophia Thiel, Stefano Zarrella, Biyon Kattilathu, Detlef Soost, Eva Padberg, Ann-Kathrin Bendixen, Lina Larissa Strahl, Jana Wosnitza, Lulu, Gabriel Kelly, Mark Keller and Tillmann Schulz.

New logo, new opener and new chandelier: the RTL studio has changed

Even though the dance floor is the same size as before and the jury stand is in the same place, a lot has changed visually: the logo and the opener are new, and the studio has a new look.

Additionally, the chandeliers were replaced with new LED installations and a new gold look was introduced.

Polanc is not immediately convinced by the design with more gold and in the style of the 20s/30s and put his fans off: "We'll talk about it again at the end of the show whether I've gotten used to it."

So it remains exciting.

By the way, he not only has an opinion about the new studio design, but also about the “Let's Dance” drama surrounding Maria Clara Groppler (25) and RTL - Polanc is clearly behind her.
