Travis Kelce has sparked unexpected engagement rumors with his girlfriend, singer Taylor Swift, and conversations about the possibility of having a baby after some comments, initially strictly sporting, he made on his 'New Heights' podcast.
In said radio space, the Chiefs player was talking with his brother Jason, praising the qualities of the French-born basketball player Victor Wembanyama, of whom both said that he had so many qualities that he looked like a “diamond created in a laboratory.”
Travis then told Jason, who just retired after 13 seasons in the NFL playing for the Philadelphia Eagles: “You can't tell me that guy wasn't created in a fucking lab back in France,” Travis said, insisting on the same idea in an exclusively sporting sense.
That's when the turn in the conversation occurred and Travis said, “A diamond made in a lab.
An NBA player made in a laboratory.
“I can’t wait until I create my own athlete.”
Jason quickly understood that the joke his brother had just made would trigger all kinds of comments and he called his attention to it: “Stop talking before the typical conspiracy theories start,” he told him in a joking tone, although the warning had no meaning. This doubt is justified because Taylor Swift fans, who call their heroine's boyfriend Tayvis (a name resulting from combining the names Travis and Taylor), are professionally dedicated to doing a kind of exegesis of any statement, image and sign that may come out of the surroundings of the singer.
The next potentially Taylor Swift-related comment that generated viral buzz came when Travis recommended his brother watch 'Love is blind.'
The 'swifties' were quick to attribute the “merit” of the player's new television hobby to his girlfriend.
Jason, for his part, could not express himself more clearly: “I'm not going to watch that garbage.”
Help Travis convince Jason to watch Love is Blind 🙏😭 pic.twitter.com/d4zJ8VdodL
