There is great concern about Princess Kate: supporters of the British royal family are wondering what form of cancer the wife of heir to the throne Prince William is suffering from.
London – The year 2024 has been anything but good for the British royal family: at the beginning of February, King Charles III.
(75) publicly announced his cancer, and only around a month and a half later Princess Kate (42) followed suit.
The wife of heir to the throne Prince William (41) also suffers from cancer, as she announced via video message on Friday evening (March 22nd).
As a precaution, she is currently undergoing chemotherapy.
Cancer diagnosis made public – but what exactly is Princess Kate suffering from?
As with King Charles, who keeps details of his illness private, after Kate's diagnosis became known, a question arose that seems to concern many supporters of the royal family: What exactly does the mother of three suffer from?
All that is known is that Princess Kate had an operation on her abdomen a few weeks ago.
This provided information: “Examinations after the operation showed that there was cancer,” reports the 42-year-old in her video speech.
In the area of the abdomen, possible diagnoses include cervical and uterine cancer, ovarian and fallopian tube cancer, but also vaginal cancer and labia cancer.
However, it remains questionable whether and to what extent the part of the body on which the operation was performed is at all meaningful for a corresponding finding.

In theory, Princess Kate could have been diagnosed with cancer in another way, for example as part of a possible blood test that was carried out during the operation.
Accordingly, purely theoretically, a large number of other types of cancer could also be considered.
Princess Kate is currently undergoing chemotherapy as a precaution - but she left it open what form of cancer she suffers from.

Only Princess Kate herself or a close family member could provide clarity.
However, it is currently unlikely that the palace will communicate the exact diagnosis.
Back in January, when the Princess of Wales underwent surgery, Kensington Palace left no doubt that they wanted to protect William's wife's privacy and would therefore not disclose any details.
In any case, there is currently no lack of support for the sick: Even Prince Harry (39) and Meghan Markle (42) sent Kate their wishes for recovery.
