Gloria, Princess of Thurn and Taxis, responded to a radio station about an action in front of Emmeram Castle.
Regensburg - The Initiative Against the Right held a rally in Regensburg to protest against Gloria Fürstin von Thurn und Taxis and against right-wing extremism.

, the 64-year-old entrepreneur did not comment on the rally.
In a statement to “Radio Charivari” she said she regretted “the denigrating accusation of having made right-wing extremist statements.”
According to the police and organizers, between 300 and 400 people took part in the action.
According to a spokesman for the initiative, the background to the demo is an event by the Union of Values with Hans-Georg Maaßen in July 2023 in the rooms of Emmeram Castle, which became known through research by t-online.de, “Süddeutscher Zeitung”, NDR and WDR a participant in a meeting of radical right-wingers in Potsdam in November is said to have been present.

The motto of the rally in front of the castle was “Stop Gloria - smash right-wing cliques!”
The anti-right initiative accuses von Thurn and Taxis of having contacts with “various extreme right-wing” actors and demanded: “Your word must no longer have any weight.” The speakers also criticized “difficult statements” made by the nobles on topics such as homosexuality and abortion.
In the spring of 2023, cultural workers spoke out against the noblewoman in an open letter with clear words.
The 64-year-old referred to “Radio Charivari” to her “very diverse (today we say diverse) circle of friends and culture”.
Unfortunately, today anyone who does not represent explicitly left-wing positions is automatically exposed to accusations of right-wing extremism, said Princess von Thurn and Taxis.
“However, this trivializes true and very dangerous right-wing extremism, such as the terrible anti-Semitism that can be seen in a shocking way on our streets these days.”
