Daisy is greedy!
As soon as an iPhone is presented to the entrance to his mouth, he is immediately grabbed and subjected to terrible physical abuse: pressure, crushing, vibration, rotation, drilling, heating, icing, blowing... Not really delicate but incredibly precise, it pulverizes an iPhone in less than 18 seconds, noisily, before distributing its constituent materials into separate bins which will ultimately feed traditional recycling channels.
Tireless and not very attentive to the model (all from the iPhone 5), she already throws herself on a new victim to scatter him in small pieces “puzzle style”.
We had the honor of being introduced to Daisy, the iPhone crushing robot developed by Apple.
There are two examples in the world, one in Austin, intended for the North American market, and one in Breda, assigned to Europe (Asia remains limited to traditional recycling channels).
All the iPhones scrapped and recovered by Apple on the old continent pass into the powerful arms of Daisy.
