District - The Bundestag member for Dachau and Fürstenfeldbruck Katrin Staffler (CSU) is calling on interested parties from the constituency to take part in Girls'Day 2024 of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group.
As part of the nationwide Girls' Day, the CDU/CSU parliamentary group and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation are inviting young women from all over Germany to Berlin from April 24th to 26th.
Under the motto “Women are great – even in cutting-edge technology,” participants will have the exclusive opportunity to attend a session of the German Bundestag.
The focus is on the exchange with the parliamentary group leader Friedrich Merz and other politicians and entrepreneurs from the high-tech industry.
The nationwide Girls' Day, which is taking place on April 25th this year, is intended to inspire people to pursue careers in the natural sciences and offers school students and young women the opportunity to think about their professional future.
Apply by March 31st
Young women aged 16 to 21 from all school types and in the transition phase between school and work can send a short motivational letter (1-2 pages) by email, stating their date of birth, in which they introduce themselves and explain why If you would like to take part, apply directly to girlsday@kas.de.
Deadline for entries is March 31st.
The number of places is limited.
The costs for accommodation and travel will be covered.
After completing the selection process, participants receive a letter with details about the process and how to organize their arrival and departure.
