About two and a half years ago, Michal (pseudonym) came for the first time to the "Taboo" club, a BDSM club located in south Tel Aviv.

On the club floor, Michal met Nissan Gevni, a well-known figure in Tel Aviv's nightlife and the owners of the place.

After Nissan approached her, he kissed her palm and she felt like she had stepped into a scene from the movies.

Only that night was only the opening in which Michal and other women found themselves in a place known as "the college".

At the end of the week it was published for the first time in Vala!

Because in recent months, after many complaints filed with the police, a criminal investigation is being conducted by the crime fighting unit of the Ayalon area on suspicion of serious sexual offenses including rape as part of the affair.

In recent months, a reporter talked to Walla!

With the women (all the names in the article are pseudonyms) who told about what happened at the "College".

"The college" is a nickname for an apartment in Tel Aviv, where a group of men live, headed by Nissan Gevni, along with many young women who change from time to time.

According to the many testimonies, the members of the group used the "Taboo" club to entice many young women to come to the "college", where they allegedly lived a community life of free and healthy sexuality in light of the BDSM scene, but according to the suspicion it was a trap to normalize serious sexual injuries, Manipulative exploitation and brutal acts of rape.

The police are investigating the involvement of at least 10 suspects, including Gabni, Shalom Boharon and Guy Shmuel.

Back to the tank.

In the wee hours of the night, the party that Michal came to ended.

Nissan invited her to come to his apartment.

When she got there, Michal was surprised to find out that it was a large basement apartment with men and women walking around naked.

Everything was fine and dandy until at some point when they were having sex, Michal noticed that a stranger entered the room.

It was Guy Shmuel.

"I was surprised that Nissan showed interest in me," repeated Michal in a conversation with Walla!.

I was very insecure at the time about my appearance.

When Guy entered the room I noticed Nissan and told him I was not comfortable.

Nissan told him to go and close the door, but the second time I told him again, but Guy stayed and didn't go even though I objected."

Sexual assaults in front of everyone

What goes on inside the apartment and inside the club was first revealed to the general public in the Ovda Bekeshet 12 program more than a year ago.

Although the harsh evidence shook the participants of the scene in Israel, the "Taboo" club still continued to operate for about six more months, until the Israeli police decided to impose a closure order on the club.

One of the reasons for the order was that "there is a reasonable basis to assume that the business owners are using the business to commit criminal offenses, to multiply sexual offenses."

What the people of the "College" could not know for sure is that the police investigators started an undercover investigation about their activities there.

During the investigation, the names of more than 10 suspects of sexual abuse emerged.

A double-digit number of complainants came to testify at the police station, where each of them detailed for many hours about the severe sexual assaults allegedly inflicted on them at the "college" and at the club.

Naama came to Taboo after always being curious about free sexuality and wanting to explore the world of BDSM.

When she arrived at the club, she felt it was a safe place, certainly after seeing the large number of security guards at the entrance and how they explained the procedures well and took all the phones from the patrons.

She will later testify to the police that only now she understands that it was only a show for appearances and how after she met Nissan, he grabbed her and put her on the stage in the club square, and this even though she expressed reluctance on her part.

"Within a few seconds I was already on stage and people started gathering around. Now that's it. You're already in the stage of a show," she repeated.

Many victims describe this situation, a situation in which they were brought up against their will to "put on a show" and without making it clear to them what the limits were and what they would cross.

When she was already standing on the stage, Naama says that Nissan whipped her while another person involved in the affair held her so that she would not resist.

They both whipped Naamah, dripped hot wax on her, and even electrocuted her with a car battery, all while sexually assaulting her, according to her in front of many.

"It scarred me and left me with period marks," she told the police.

Three months later, one evening, Naama was sick and did not feel well, so she rested on a bed in one of the rooms.

Two men sat down next to her with the intention of having sex with her.

"I told him I was sick and that I didn't feel like it right now," she recalls.

"Then he just undressed me and I tried to resist, but one of them grabbed my hands."

She testified that they brutally raped her while they laughed while she tried to resist.

"They just finished and left the room. I stayed there and I don't remember if at that moment I realized it was rape. I remember a moment later that I was sitting in the living room and crying because of the strong pain in my ribs."

Dana also described how she used to come to the "college" for an extended period of time until one evening, while she was having sex with Nissan in the apartment, the suspects Shalom Boharon and Guy Shmuel emerged from the side completely naked.

She repeated how she said in a very clear and sharp way that she was not interested in sleeping with them, but according to her this did not stop them from brutally gang-raping her.

"Black Bracelets"

From many testimonies obtained by Walla!, new details are revealed about what appears to be a complex mechanism of exploitation and harm of many women in the "College".

Among other things, claims were made by some of the girls about the "Black Bracelets" group.

They say that a large group of men walked around the club with black bracelets on their wrists that are used as a means of marking that indicates their proximity to the hard core of the "college".

According to the evidence, in addition to the fact that the "black bracelets" received free entry and drinks at the "Taboo" club, claims were made that various service providers are also allowed to hang around the "College" and the club and enjoy what the "College" has to provide for them - the young women.

"He doesn't promise people anything, they weren't specifically told 'come and sleep with her,'" explained one of the women who were at the "College".

"But you simply understand from the behavior there and how men there do what they want with the girls and you understand how you will get a part of it."

Goes through the house - and grabs a girl whenever he wants

It seems that the descriptions of what is happening in the "college" on the part of many women present a systematic pattern that repeats itself.

The story begins when the men lure a girl to the apartment and make sure to shower her with affection from all sides, which makes the girl feel that she wants to be part of the experience and this unique group that presents itself as the face of the BDSM community in Israel.

Many girls describe how they needed a family group, affection or love, all of which they felt the "college" could provide.

They also tell how some of the girls were desperate for a real roof and were afraid of finding themselves on the street.

It is important to note that almost all of the victims who spoke with Walla!

Testifies that they experienced severe sexual abuse in the past before arriving at the same apartment.

The next step that comes up in the conversations is when the guys try to draw the line through different acts without clear consent.

In many versions, one of the men joined during sex despite the girl's resistance and in some of them this included the use of various pain and control measures such as strangulation, electric shock or touching in intimate places without consent.

If the girl refused and stopped them, they take care to punish her and make her feel guilty, for example they may at once ignore her, mock her or actually scold her.

"He suddenly acted like I was a complete stranger," shared one of the victims.

"It was really silent treatment."

When the girl did participate in one act or another, then from that moment on she is marked as one who will always desire it again and again.

Many girls told, for example, how Guy Shmuel agreed to have a relationship despite the girl's resistance, just as Michal shared.

"He would walk through the house and just grab a girl."

that another girl who was in "college" came back.

"He would see someone lying on the sofa and suddenly come out of nowhere and push his fingers into her."

The victims shared how Nissan and the other members of the "college" made sure to echo a compassionate story about Guy in which he is described as a poor guy, with the aim of making the girls be forgiving towards his brutal actions.

The explanation for them was that he is the person who is allowed by virtue of his insanity to do all kinds of things that other people cannot do.

"They say that Guy is a boy with a soul of gold that the world simply doesn't understand. They constantly make sure to say how they adopted Guy, nurtured him and took care of him."

From the many conversations, it seems that the "college" is full of characteristics that create a complex situation in which the women apparently agree and contain all their sexual vulnerabilities.

An example of such a characteristic is that in college they use to say endlessly the word "rape" as slang for sexual relations.

"They say 'when will I rape you?'

And 'he's just going to rape someone'. And they also send gifs on WhatsApp of 'I'm going to rape you,'" said one of the victims.

Another characteristic that came up is that in the "college" there is always the presence of an older girl.

According to some of the complainants, that girl has an important role in that mechanism - which is expected to take care of the girls when they break down emotionally and in addition to convey to them a sense of security and legitimacy to be part of the group and the culture of the "college".

Comments

Lawyers Galia Shmilovitz and Oshera Kirma, who represent some of the complainants in the case, said: "We hope that the Israel Police and the Attorney General's Office will do their job and bring to justice all those involved in the sexual exploitation mechanism in the 'Mechala' case, which made it possible to commit serious sexual offenses against our clients. The exploitation mechanism created by those involved around Their status and power in the BDSM community and around the Taboo Club was based for years on the exploitation of young women, while those involved obscure and erase the established rules of conduct that constitute a red line in the world of BDSM, in order to commit the most serious sexual offenses in the law book against those women. Now the gag order has been lifted on an investigation It is not impossible that more victims will gather courage and file complaints with the police."

On behalf of Nissan Gevni, Shalom Boharon and Guy Shmuel no response has yet been given.
