Máximo Kirchner
criticized President
Javier Milei
after the broadcast of the official video from Casa Rosada titled "Memory, Truth and Complete Justice", where he sets out his position regarding repression and denies the figure of the 30,000 disappeared.
"From the first magistracy of the State,
the tragedy that was for the country is questioned and that is not good
," he stated in statements to the La Cámpora channel on YouTube, in the middle of the mobilization towards Plaza de Mayo.
The national deputy added that "there is a situation of
contempt not only for the past
, but also for the companions, for the disappearances, the torture, the appropriation of boys and girls
; and in the present for the people
, as if they could not "there must be a degree of empathy with the pain, suffering and hope of Argentines."
While the march for Remembrance Day
was taking place
, the Government broadcast a 12-minute spot in which it states its position regarding the repression and armed struggle during the years prior to the last Military Dictatorship and refutes the figure of 30,000. missing.
The video is titled "Day of Remembrance for Truth and Justice" and adds the word "Complete", where the Executive expresses its position on violence in the '70s.
Shortly after the video was published, President Javier Milei responded with a message "for a complete memory so that there is truth and justice."
The legislator from Unión por la Patria highlighted that this Sunday's mobilization
is a correlate of the CGT strike and protest on January 24
, along with the 8M mobilization of the women's collective, where harsh criticism of Milei's government was heard.
Video
The spot presents the ruling party's view on terrorism and how those responsible were judged.
"In 100 days, the Argentine people are expressing their discontent with the current policies," he said, referring to the three months of La Libertad Avanza's management.
Máximo also questioned Vice President Victoria Villaruel, who, prior to the publication of the short from the Rosada account, broadcast her own video where she questions the number of missing people.
Villarruel states that "Human Rights are for Everyone. Memory too. Truth, Justice and Reparation for the victims of terrorism. Those responsible for these crimes cannot go unpunished."
The text closes with the provocative hashtag #NoFueron30000, questioning the figure established since the return of democracy as a social consensus on the people who were kidnapped, murdered and disappeared during the last military dictatorship.
When asked if he would have Villaruel on his team, because he shares his love for Racing Club, he responded in the negative: "How am I going to want to build an option with someone who
defends the torturers and murderers of so many Argentines
and among they are the parents of classmates."
The national deputy said that
he does not share his vision of the past, present and future with the current vice president
, but he acknowledged that there are sectors that seek to empower her and confront President Milei.
"Some sectors, due to some characteristics that they denote about the President, raise her up. But no matter what, nothing happens," he concluded.
