The implementation of the pop-up store in the Forsthaus Wörnbrunn was in jeopardy because there were no permits.

But now it can take place at a later date: in beautiful April.

Grünwald

– Social media has increased significantly in popularity in Grünwald village life, and so a small chapter of it has now been discussed in the local council.

Ingrid Reinhart (Greens) had learned that a Wörnbrunn market had been canceled.

This is an Easter pop-up store in the Forsthaus Wörnbrunn, which was planned by Christine Klimscha from Grünwald.

The Grünwald native started years ago with a flea market in the Forsthaus Wörnbrunn, which has been run by Florian Gürster since 2019.

Then she came up with the idea of organizing a market with a few selected brands that could show their goods there and thus become visible because they may not have a physical store.

It is not limited to the region; the participants also come from far away, from Berlin or Hamburg.

The municipality received a complaint

But a few weeks before the event, which was supposed to have taken place before Easter, the community received a complaint.

Since it was a commercial event, you had to go to the town hall and obtain the appropriate permits.

Ingrid Reinhart told the Münchner Merkur: "The organizers apparently didn't know that they had to register it commercially." The community was a little surprised by this because there was no advertising in the newspaper or in the Isaranzeiger.

She had to request the documents; according to organizer Klimscha, approval with all official steps can take up to eight weeks.

She hadn't expected such bureaucratic bohemianism.

“At first I was terribly disappointed and wanted to give up.” But then she received so much encouragement from Grünwald that she postponed the appointment and took on the official effort.

There was encouragement from town hall

She also received a lot of support from the town hall, so the new date was set for the 20th/21st.

April from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. is now set with almost 60 different manufacturers, some of whom have already made products for Easter.

Klimscha: “I’m incredibly sorry for the exhibitors.

But overall the reactions were calm.” After all, Easter candles, for example, could still find buyers next year.

The pop-up store features almost exclusively women who network with each other and form groups for new projects.

A week before, on Saturday, April 13th, from 10 a.m., a fashion and children's flea market will take place in the Forsthaus Wörnbrunn, whatever the weather.

There are enough parking spaces available.

There are still remaining spaces available for outdoor vendors.

Admission is free.
