The number of crimes in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district has increased compared to the previous year.
Fewer crimes were solved.
Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen – The number of registered crimes in the district has increased slightly compared to the previous year.
According to statistics published this week by the Upper Bavaria South Police Headquarters, 4,272 crimes were recorded in Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen in 2023, 1.9 percent more than in the previous year.
The clearance rate is falling – Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen has a low crime rate
The clearance rate was 64.8 percent, slightly lower than in 2022 (68.1 percent).
The police identified a total of 2,218 suspects.
An important indicator for the question of how safe it is to live in the district is the so-called frequency number.
This calculated quantity describes the number of registered crimes per 100,000 inhabitants.
In Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen the value was 3299 last year, significantly lower than the Bavaria-wide average of 4361. Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen also ranks among the districts within the area of responsibility of the Upper Bavaria-South Police Headquarters, which includes nine districts and the city of Rosenheim with the lowest crime rate, behind Traunstein and Weilheim-Schongau.
