After mild spring weather, snow is falling in Baden-Württemberg.
But the outlook promises immediate improvement – before Easter.

After mild, spring-like temperatures, snow fell along the Swabian Alb and the Black Forest on Sunday night.
A weather expert from the German Weather Service (DWD) in Stuttgart reported on Sunday that the snow remained at an altitude of around 700 meters.
According to the meteorologist, maximum values were measured on Sunday morning in the Black Forest at Feldberg (ten centimeters) and in Freudenstadt (seven centimeters).

Slippery snow due to the onset of winter: drivers rush into police cars
The snow surprised many people – including on the streets.
In the Schwarzwald-Baar district, a driver crashed into a police vehicle in slippery snow and probably at excessive speed.
Police said on Sunday that both drivers suffered minor injuries in the collision on Saturday evening.
A few flakes also fell at times in Munich.
However, nothing was left lying around.
This is unlikely to change in the Bavarian capital in the coming days.
The DWD predicted rain for Baden-Württemberg on Sunday and snow at higher altitudes, which could lead to partly slippery roads at night.
But the prospects are improving: from Monday, March 25th, according to the weather experts, the sun will shine more and more.
The temperatures should be between eight degrees in the mountains and 14 degrees in southern Baden.
Changeable Easter week is coming up - then it will be warm
This also applies to the rest of Germany, even if the last week of March will be changeable again.
“A wave of cold air is currently giving us typical April weather in March,” said Sebastian Schappert from the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach on Sunday (March 24th).
According to the meteorologist, there will be light frost on Monday night, particularly in some low mountain areas and in Alpine valleys.

From Monday it goes back and forth before it gets really warm on the Easter weekend.
The DWD promises that temperatures could climb to up to 20 degrees, especially in the southeast half.
