The clock is ticking for the Paris police headquarters (PP).
State services have had 15 days, since March 20, to re-examine at least three taxi driver files which had been closed without further action.
This is what orders issued by the Paris administrative court (TA) say.
These craftsmen responded to the call for applications launched by the PP in May 2023 for the allocation of new licenses for the transport of people with reduced mobility (PRM).
Their creation, in order to triple the offer for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, was announced in November 2021 by Jean Castex, then Prime Minister, at the end of the Interministerial Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games (CIJOP).
“For us, it gave us hope of having a parking permit (ADS) more quickly,” explains a driver.
On average, a craftsman who registers in Paris must wait fifteen years to have his own ADS.
In the meantime, he rents it to companies or individuals.
This is called “rental management”.
