A criminal who pretended to be a client made
three employees of a Palermo store experience minutes of terror and uncertainty
, whom he locked in an office at gunpoint and then escaped with a million-dollar sum of money.
The 55-year-old man was recorded by the business's security cameras and was arrested shortly after by the Police.
As seen in these images, one of the workers was attending to the thief, who was dressed in jeans, a shirt and a visor.
Meanwhile, another employee of the business located at 2,200 Fitz Roy was talking on the phone next to them and the remaining one was doing tasks on a computer, at a counter somewhat further away.
Until then
everything seemed to be going normally
: a potential client waiting for the corresponding information to make a transaction.
However, suddenly the man
pulls out a gun from a bag he was carrying and points it
at the subject in front of him, first, and then at the other two young women, who immediately noticed: one cut off the call and another raised her arms. arms, resigned.
Although the video released by the City Security area does not have audio, everything suggests that the criminal forced the three employees to get up and walk to the back area of the premises to lock them up.

After finding what he was apparently looking for, he left the business without realizing that while he was locking the door, a young man who was passing by was going to stop to talk to him.

he escaped with the day's proceeds, calculated at 1,198,790 pesos and 2,900 dollars

The 14B Neighborhood Police Station quickly became aware of the incident and went to the scene and interviewed the victims.
