With various actions and measures, citizens want to contribute to improving the quality of life in Wolfratshausen in collaboration with lecturers and students from the Munich University of Applied Sciences.
Wolfratshausen – The participants in the transformation laboratory toiled for almost half a year so that they could now present the results of their work in the Wallner-Bockhorni Cabinet of the museum.
There are pieces of paper with ideas and photos attached to thick boards.
In front of the museum there is a post with a hammer, nails and paper on which wishes can be written and attached.
Upgrading of the old raft land and the interim use of the vacant property on Obermarkt
Specifically, it is about the upgrading of the old raft land and the temporary use of the vacant property at Obermarkt 8, which once housed a drugstore branch.
Games for families, readings and yoga courses could take place on the Loisachufer - as happened on market Sunday.
In the second “mini laboratory” on Obermarkt there would be space for a storytelling café, a youth forum or a tool rental station.
“It was a huge experiment in which we didn’t know for a long time what would come out,” admits Stefan Werner.
The head of the location promotion department thanked the design and social sciences students and other volunteers for their commitment.
“We now invite you to take a snapshot and look forward to the subsequent exchange,” said Werner confidently.
The people of Wolfratshausen have done real pioneering work here.
Professor Sarah Dorkenwald
Professor Sarah Dorkenwald then called on people of all ages to take part.
“Anyone who wants to can get involved,” she appealed to exhibition visitors.
Dorkenwald praised the co-creative process between citizens and administration.
“The people of Wolfratshausen have done real pioneering work here,” enthused the lecturer.
The realization of long-cherished wishes is now in full swing.
The chairman of the Wolfratshausen-Barbezieux partnership association, Rainer Kebekus, is looking forward to the redesign of the boules court on the Loisachufer.
Ernst Gröbmair, chairman of the Living Old Town Wolfratshausen (LAW) association, also has high hopes for the new transformation laboratory.
He said there are a lot of interesting ideas.
Nevertheless, Gröbmair hopes for even greater participation from local residents, especially since the work of the Munich students is limited.
