Russians continued to flock on Monday around the Crocus City Hall concert hall, near Moscow, the scene of a deadly Islamist attack which left at least 139 dead Friday evening, according to the authorities.

The day after the day of national mourning, they added fresh flowers to the mountain of red bouquets already attesting to the population's support for the victims and their families.

Elsewhere in the country, temporary memorials are also still powered.

The president lit a candle in the chapel of his residence near the capital.

But he will not join the crowd at the scene of the tragedy.

Dmitri Peskov, Kremlin spokesperson, dismissed this possibility on Monday.
