A young man, also 21 years old, was driving on Fürther Strasse towards the city center at around 6:20 p.m., starting from Maximilianstrasse.
“At the intersection with Paumgartnerstrasse he wanted to turn left in his Mercedes onto Sielstrasse.
This resulted in a collision with an oncoming motorcycle,” said the Middle Franconia police in a press release.
“Due to the force of the collision, the 21-year-old motorcyclist fell and sustained several bone injuries,” it continues.
She was taken to hospital by emergency services with serious injuries.
