It is a letter that provides initial answers.
The family of Salah Hamidi, this man who died of a heart attack shortly after his visit to the emergency room of Étampes hospital, in Essonne on January 24, 2024, has just received a letter from the regional health agency (ARS) explaining the details of its support.
With one main lesson: “an error of interpretation” during an examination would have been made by the hospital center, which recognizes its “entire responsibility”, we can read in this letter revealed by the weekly “Le Point” last week.
Just after his death, a complaint was filed against the CHSE (Sud-Essonne Hospital Center) by the victim's sister, convinced that the caregivers “should never have let” Salah leave.
