The process of
presentation of candidatures
The presidential elections on July 28 in
Venezuela
conclude this Monday, with the registration of Chavista Nicolás Maduro, while the majority opposition hopes to be able to nominate
Corina Yoris
- its candidate due to the disqualification of María Corina Machado -, despite the obstacles that According to the complaint, they have prevented him from doing so.

were all broadcast by the state channel Venezolana de Televisión

But the Democratic Unitary Platform (PUD), which brings together the bulk of the opposition parties in Venezuela, denounced this Sunday that it has not had access to the official system to register Yoris' candidacy.
The PUD asked the CNE
to extend the application period for three days
- until next Thursday, March 28 - in order to "correct the factual and legal violations that have occurred in the process."
Corina Yoris had to come out this Sunday to deny a lie spread on social networks in which she claims that she cannot run for office because she has
dual nationality, Venezuelan and Uruguayan.
I categorically deny the information that is circulating about my supposed dual nationality.
I was born in Caracas, my parents were born in Venezuela and I never chose a nationality other than Venezuelan.
