A page is turning in Goussainville.
On Wednesday March 20, the municipal council voted to sell the summer camp that the city has owned for more than seventy years in Allier.
A 27 hectare plot of land, located in the commune of Mayet-de-Montagne and comprising several buildings including five dormitories, an infirmary and a large refectory with kitchen.
The commune, communist at the time, had acquired it in 1950. Canvas camps were first installed there then, in 1958, a building permit was filed to develop the premises with a configuration more or less the same as that of 'Today.
Over the decades, thousands of Goussainvillois have spent one or more stays in the place.
