Rosenthal – The traditional company Rosenthal is cutting jobs.

At the request of

Bayerischer Rundfunk

(BR),

a spokeswoman confirmed the job cuts.

The results of the austerity measures and restructuring measures that have been underway for some time and the forecast for the current year were not enough to offset the economic downturn, said the spokeswoman.

The market situation is difficult: costs are rising, and at the same time consumers are buying less porcelain.
