In addition to answers to the many questions, Mayor Martin Vaas also brought interesting figures on community development to the citizens' meeting.

Allershausen

- It was a lively evening: At the Allershausen citizens' meeting, around 70 citizens had lots of questions.

Mayor Martin Vaas did well to limit his lecture to one hour.

Martin Vaas reported to the citizens that the community had grown to 6,300 residents and provided data that underpinned the community's good path.

We have steadily increasing trade tax revenue “because we have a good mix of businesses and are not dependent on one or two large companies”.

With 378 jobs per 1,000 inhabitants, Allershausen is number four in the district and could overtake third place Eching in the coming years.

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

Statistically, there were also notable events: The previously smallest district of Aiterbach (309 inhabitants) is giving up the red lantern because Tünzhausen has become four people smaller to 308. The 77 births in 2023 are a record. For Martin Vaas, this confirms the planning of the children's home Eggenberg field.

This is currently being built with five groups, “but we can expand it to seven groups with relatively little effort.”

Four Allershausen wind turbines still in limbo

Following the annual report, there were a number of questions from citizens, and like last year, many people were interested in the status of the four planned wind turbines in Schwarzhölzl.

According to Vaas, the year-long species protection review is ongoing, but there are already other problems.

The southern location is a gravel mining priority area, although mining will probably never take place there.

“Gravel mining beats wind power,” Vaas said.

In the west of the forest, the planned wind turbine is 9.8 kilometers from Scheyern Monastery, and there must be no visual disturbances for this monument within a radius of ten kilometers.

For the Allershausen project, extensive simulations must be used to show that the monastery in the Pfaffenhofen district will not be affected.

Concern about dwindling trees on the Amper

A citizen complained that the tree population on Glonn and Amper was noticeably declining due to extreme weather or beavers.

Her question was whether the community was replanting.

Here Martin Vaas said that the water management office sees no need for action and is leaving nature to its own devices.

Regarding the beaver, the mayor made it clear: “The beaver is a huge problem for us.” The animal causes great damage to the trees on the rivers, but removals are only approved if there is a concrete danger to life and limb.

The citizen shows no understanding for the district office's approach: “We can only watch as everything goes down the drain.

The kingfisher is also a protected animal and thus loses its habitat.

Isn’t it worth anything?”
