It was an argument from the town of Puteaux (Hauts-de-Seine) which responded to the requests of families: that the uniforms worn since this Monday morning by the approximately 900 children of the Bergères, Parmentier and La Défense 2000 schools, be made in Europe and eco-responsible.
If the sweatshirts, polo shirts and blouses seem to display a string of labels (Oeko Tex, Gots, EcoVadis Platinim, B Corp), their origin is much more distant.
Because, if you look closely at the labels, the clothes were not made in Portugal, as the municipality thought, but in Pakistan and Bangladesh.
As for the blouses, there are simply no or no more labels.
