Godoy Cruz and San Martín de San Juan face each other for the 32nd round of the Argentine Cup at the Juan Gilberto Funes stadium in San Luis, in what could be considered a new edition of the Cuyo classic.
Not much was happening in the game, until 30 minutes into the first half, the calm was broken.
But not because of a goal play, but because of what was happening in the stands.
Referee Darío Herrera had to suspend the match when seats began to fly from one stand to the other, from the central seats.
The situation led to bullfights and the police setting up a cordon to keep the fans away and regain calm.

"This is unfortunate, nobody wants this, neither do we. The players are very nervous, we hope that the security agencies will give us the guarantees to continue," Herrera said while police shots were heard against the stands.
In another sector, the troops used the hydrant to disperse people.
"The steps to follow are to wait for everything to normalize, for security to speak and give us the guarantees to continue the game. It is a beautiful event and we have the responsibility to take care of it," the referee continued.
