Six prominent candidates will demonstrate their talent as amateur pastry chefs at the “Celebrity Baking” Easter special.
Two well-known pop stars are also taking part.
Berlin – For most people, Easter includes not only the traditional egg hunt but also a lavish feast.
So it's no wonder that Sat.1 will be broadcasting a special edition of “The Great Celebrity Baking” just in time for Easter.
Six well-known amateur bakers will compete against each other on the show for a good cause.
The three-person jury consisting of master confectioner Bettina “Betty” Schliephake-Burchardt (52), pastry chef Christian Hümbs (42) and presenter Enie van de Meiklokjes (49) will decide who will be most convincing with their culinary creations.
The winners will receive a prize of 10,000 euros, which will be donated to a charity of their choice.
Two pop stars are competing in the “The Big Celebrity Baking” Easter special
The holiday edition of “The Big Celebrity Baking” should also be interesting for hit fans.
As the online portal “Schlager.de” reports, among others, both the “Caught in the Act” star Eloy de Jong (51) and the former DSDS runner-up Sarah Engels (31) will appear in the show.
The ex-boy band member and the Cologne singer are regular guests on relevant hit formats on TV.
Whether they can convince with their home-baked cakes as well as with their voices will be shown next week at the latest during the “Celebrity Baking” Easter special.
Eloy de Jong and Sarah Engels compete against two entertainers and a sports duo
In addition to Eloy de Jong and Sarah Engels, the “Celebrity Backen” production team was able to recruit four other top-class guests for the Easter special edition of the show.
Citizen Lars Dietrich (51), stand-up comedian Lisa Feller (47), sports icon Sabrina Mockenhaupt (43) and soccer coach Thomas “Icke” Häßler (57) will also knead dough for a good cause.
The prominent candidates compete against each other in teams of two and are also supported in their projects by the juror and passionate amateur baker Enie van de Meiklokjes.
The Easter special of “The Great Celebrity Baking” will be shown on March 27th at 8:15 p.m. on Sat.1.
The regular season ends on March 20th on Sat.1.
Long before that, however, Andrea Kiewel had divulged secret details about “celebrity baking” in the “Fernsehgarten”.
