Gideon Sa'ar on ending engagement with the Blue and White party/Elad Gutman
The chairman of the state right, Minister Gideon Sa'ar, announced that he will hold a press conference this evening (Monday) - where he may announce his resignation from the government. After giving an ultimatum to the members of the government about two weeks ago - either he will be appointed as a member of the war cabinet or he will retire from the government.
In the meantime, MK Sharan Hashakal, a member of Sa'ar's party, spoke earlier with Ben Caspit and Aryeh Eldad on Radio 103FM, and claimed that in her opinion it is "a matter of a few days": "As it seems right now, next week we will be out of the government.
We see that the war is not going the right way.
We act responsibly, and outside the government we will act responsibly as well."
The brain added: "We will always put the national consideration above the political consideration, and that is what we are doing even now.
We were promised that by Ramadan there would either be a kidnapping deal or we would be in Rafah.
It didn't happen and it didn't happen."
