The weather goes a little crazy in the last week of March.
However, it should be sunny and warm at Easter.
An overview of the prospects.
Munich – sun, precipitation, snow, wind and hail: In parts of Germany the weather had a lot to offer on Sunday.
And the changing trend is expected to continue for the time being.
“A wave of cold air at altitude is currently giving us typical April weather in March,” said Sebastian Schappert from the German Weather Service (DWD).

, meteorologist Dominik Jung gave an outlook on the Easter weekend.
March ends with April weather: This is the outlook until Thursday
On Monday, the April weather was still affecting the northeast and east of Germany, explained the meteorologist from Offenbach.
“Otherwise, an intermediate high influence sets in and the flow gradually turns back to a southwesterly to southern direction.” This means that significantly milder air will reach the west.
“The maximum values are already rising to up to 14 degrees.” However, light frost can be expected again in some areas on Tuesday night.
In March, Germany experiences April weather.

On Tuesday the sun appeared in many places and milder air spread across large parts of Germany.
“This means that the maximum temperatures will climb a little higher to up to 17 degrees in the southwest.” However, it could get wet again on Wednesday.
From the west, an extension of a low pressure system is moving over France and Great Britain, which will gradually cross Germany eastward by Thursday morning.
Temporary precipitation and freshening winds are possible, said Schappert.
On Thursday the next low foothills will follow from the west, which will ensure a persistently changeable weather character with rain and wind.
Temperatures are rising due to the general weather situation
According to Schappert, the weekend around Easter promises mild weather.
In the southeast half, temperatures could climb up to 20 degrees.
In the northwest it is expected to remain a little cooler at 15 to 17 degrees.
Cloud fields and showers are always possible there.
The forecasts for this period are still subject to uncertainty, said the meteorologist on Sunday.

also made a similar forecast in a message from the weekend.
On the one hand, he refers to the European weather model.
Accordingly, there could be “peak values of around 20 degrees from Good Friday to Easter Sunday, regionally even 25 or 26 degrees are possible,” he said.
Jung expects Sahara heat at Easter.
The US weather model, on the other hand, predicts slightly lower temperatures between 15 and 20 degrees.

Thunderstorms are to be expected in places - “rain clouds, especially in the west,” explains Jung.
“But the whole thing with quite warm air masses.” The forecasts are now reliable in terms of it being warm at Easter.
“Where exactly how many degrees will be reached is still uncertain,” he objects.
The meteorologist still gives a little perspective:
Good Friday: “In the southwest, most likely close to 25 degrees.”
Easter Saturday: “Widespread 20 to 23 degrees, locally on rivers up to 25 degrees.”
Easter Sunday/Monday: “The highest values in the east and southeast – there again close to 25 degrees.”
So it should be warm enough on Easter weekend to search for Easter eggs in the fresh air.
However, if you want to dye eggs with your children beforehand, you should be prepared for high prices.
