This Monday should be the sunniest day of the week across the country.
A succession of sometimes pronounced rainy spells sets in from the end of the day, according to Météo France.
Monday: calm before the rain
After a morning where the sun was present almost everywhere except in Brittany and in part of Hauts-de-France and the Pyrénées-Orientales, the clouds gained ground in the afternoon.
They impose themselves in the south and west of the country.
Elsewhere, the sky remains clear, the sun being veiled at best.
Increasingly intense precipitation will take over from the clouds from the end of the day.
Arriving from the west and the south they will spread to almost the entire country during the night.
Temperatures are seasonal.
In the northern half of the country they range from 11°C to 14°C and around fifteen degrees in the southern half.
Locally they can reach 18°C as in Bordeaux (Gironde).
Furthermore, the wind is present along the Mediterranean and in Occitania, blowing up to around 70 km/h in gusts.

Tuesday: new Mediterranean episode
The rains become widespread.
Only Brittany and Alsace should be spared.
Along the Mediterranean, rain and wind are increasing.
The region is facing a new Mediterranean episode after those which followed one another at the end of winter;
it particularly affects the Cévennes and their surroundings.
The totals should be lower than the last few times, but monitoring is still required and flooding cannot be ruled out.
The wind is gaining strength compared to Monday and reaches nearly a hundred kilometers per hour in gusts in Hérault and Bouches-du-Rhône.
In anticipation of this situation, Météo France has implemented orange vigilance (level 3 out of 4) in Hérault due to the risk of waves-submersion linked to the force of the wind.
Snow is also expected at low altitude in the Massif Central and the Alps, which will increase the risk of avalanches.
Temperatures will remain seasonal in the north.
But they will be significantly lower in the south of the country, particularly in Occitania where it will be less than 10°C, or 7°C or 8°C less than expected at this time of year.

Wednesday: a day of transition
The most intense precipitation leaves France from the east.
Then, a trolling sky is set up.
Showers and sunny spells follow one another in most regions.
The thermometer finds seasonal values around fifteen degrees, sometimes a little more.
It remains around 10°C to 13°C in the north of the country.
The day is also marked by strengthening winds in the north of the country.
Gusts of around 65 km/h are expected.
They will be 10 km/h to 15 km/h stronger along the coasts.

Thursday: the South away from the rain
Showers are expected to increase again in most areas.
Only the south of France, along the Mediterranean and in the Pyrenees, would experience clearings, or even plenty of sunshine.
However, showers would occur in Corsica.
Temperatures will remain the same level as the day before to within one or two units, i.e. between 10°C and 13°C in the northern part and between 15°C and 18-19°C in the southern part.
The wind should also continue to blow strongly, and could even strengthen by around ten kilometers per hour in gusts.

Friday: gray, rain and rising temperatures
The entire country, almost without exception, should be covered in gray weather and especially rain throughout the day.
Thunderstorms could also occur on an axis going from the South-West to the North-East.
Temperatures, despite this massive precipitation, will be on the rise.
They will exceed 15°C in the North, locally approaching 20°C in Burgundy in particular.
In the South, the 20°C mark would be exceeded in Occitania and the Alps.
It could even be up to 23°C in Drôme, more than 5°C higher than average.

Weekend: clouds and rain in sight
The trend is towards a weekend in line with the week.
Saturday would be a particularly rainy day.
Temperatures would be around fifteen degrees in the north of the country, between 15°C and 20°C in the southern part.
On Sunday, most of the country would be under cloud before the rains return from the southeast.
