But in the current US election campaign, Trump appears almost exclusively without his wife.
In recent months, she has appeared at the memorial service for the late former first lady Rosalynn Carter in November, at the funeral of her own mother, Amalija Knavs, in January and occasionally at celebrations at Mar-a-Lago.
A few days ago, the First Lady appeared in the state of Florida to vote in the presidential primaries.
