Floricienta
, the hit 2004 television show starring Florencia Bertotti,
will premiere a sequel, 20 years later
.
This is
Margarita
, the series that will tell the story of
the daughter of
Floricienta
.
Although it does not have a release date, it was confirmed that it will arrive in the second half of the year to Max and the first official trailer was published.
"We were all told the story of the lost princess," says the protagonist at the beginning of the trailer.
There we can see images of the fictional kingdom of Krikoragán, in which the three children of Florencia Santillán (Bertotti) and Máximo Augusto Calderón de la Hoya (Fabio Di Tomasso) are heirs to the throne.
In the middle of an invasion,
Floricienta
's triplets are taken from the castle
, so that they can grow up in anonymity, far from danger
.
At no point is reference made to Bertotti, who had already confirmed that he will not be part of the series.
As the trailer progresses, we discover that Margarita lived in homes all her life, believing that she is an orphan and alone in the world.
But
she inherited from her mother her love for music, dancing and acting
, and her dream is to be able to dedicate herself to what she is passionate about.
On the other hand, we see Delfina Santillán (Isabel Macedo), the bad guy of the story, who founds a talent show in her sister's house.
She adopts an orphan girl with a strong resemblance to Margarita and convinces her that this is her true identity, to hide the fact that she was left adrift.
The conflicts begin when the real Margarita (Mora Bianchi, 19 years old) shows up at the door of her house to be able to study at her music and acting school
.
"Margarita as the princess of England, Margaret of Austria, like the drink, which the one who invented it named in honor of a daisy. In short, there are daisies everywhere," says the protagonist, with a tone of voice and gestures that are very reminiscent of Bertotti.
The essence of Floricienta, intact
"Margarita", the new production by Cris Morena that maintains the essence of Floricienta.
In the preview, we can already hear a few seconds of the new original songs that have the unmistakable stamp of Cris Morena.
"I want a lot, a little nothing. I want a lot, a little and everything," Margarita sings with a happy rhythm, which was always the one that characterized
Floricienta
.
Additionally, Isabel Macedo replicates her famous line from the original series
"Someone's in trouble"
during this first trailer.
Graciela Stefani also appears, who plays Malala again.
Appealing to nostalgia, she says "wake up stupid" to Macedo, in the iconic tone of voice with which she did it in
Floricienta
.
Julia Calvo
appears in the trailer
, who joins the world of
Floricienta
after participating in
Casi Ángeles
, another series from the Cris Morena universe.
We also see
Rafael Ferro, Macedo's new villain and henchman
, who will ensure that Margarita does not find out his true identity.
At the end of the trailer, the protagonist performs
Por Qué
, one of
Floricienta
's most acclaimed songs .
This nod to the original series thrilled fans and is already generating repercussions on
social networks.
Isabel Macedo will play Delfina Santillán again in this new series.
It was confirmed that
Margarita will have a total of 40 episodes
in the same season, which will arrive in the second half of 2024 on Max.
It remains to be seen if the series meets the expectations of
Floricienta fans,
who have doubts about the production due to the absence of Flor Bertotti.
