A heated confrontation was recorded this morning (Tuesday) during an interview conducted by the Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gabir on the program of Ben Caspit Vinon Magal on radio 103FM.

handful of Hapoel Tel Aviv fans attacked a Hapoel Haifa fan .

With them, but let's face the truth, there are anarchists there who are criminals and criminals and it is very good that the police are in order.

This whining of the boy, of this criminal," said Ben Gvir.

The show's host Ben Caspit, a Hapoel Tel Aviv fan, responded firmly: "You are dismantling an entire team, an investment of millions, and you are not doing it in Teddy because you were and remain a criminal and an anarchist." Ben Gvir did not stay obliging and replied: "Stop whining, if Beitar Jerusalem fans did something like that, they would immediately close Teddy."

Caspit said in response: "You are simply part of La Familia, that's the problem."

As you know, last Saturday a very serious violent incident took place at the end of the basketball game between Hapoel Tel Aviv and Hapoel Haifa.

During the event that was recorded, several fans were observed violently beating fans from the opposing team, using sticks, chairs, belts and various objects.

Following the incident, a fan was evacuated from the scene with a head injury and needed medical treatment at a hospital.

A preliminary investigation of the incident that began minutes after the end of Danny Franco's team's 88:87 loss to a team from Carmel shows that a number of Hapoel Tel Aviv fans came towards the goal of the Hapoel Haifa fans in order to "settle scores" with the fans from Carmel.

It is still unclear what led them to do this, since there is no rivalry between the clubs' fans.

A number of Haifa fans, who had not yet managed to leave the place, entered the hall again, and several dozen fans chased them while beating two of them severely.

Hapoel Tel Aviv were quick to condemn the event, both in an official announcement, in a tweet by owner Ofer Yanai who promised "a deep plowing", and in the words of chairman Rami Cohen, who was on the floor at the end in an attempt to help the Haifa fans.
