After Pascal Praud, Sonia Mabrouk, Laurence Ferrari and Cyril Hanouna, it is
Yann Barthès
' turn to take the grand oral exam.
Wednesday March 27, at 9 a.m., the presenter of “Quotidien” on TMC will be interviewed with his producer Laurent Bon, his columnist Julien Bellver and two managers of TF1 at the National Assembly as part of the parliamentary commission of inquiry relating to the pluralism.
Invited on the set of “Buzz TV” on the eve of this meeting,
Quentin Bataillon
, Renaissance deputy for the Loire, and president of this commission, revealed the outlines.

For years, Yann Barthès has made it a point of honor not to receive members of the National Rally on his set.
Columnist Julien Bellver confirmed this policy a few months ago on Sud Radio.
They will be questioned about this.
“
Pluralism is everyone’s business
,” believes Quentin Bataillon.
“
Political parties initially which must go everywhere.
(...) And, then, it is the role of journalists to invite everyone.
From the moment one of the two actors does not fully fulfill his role, he must be recalled, even if he is respecting the legality.
“Daily” is legal since they play tape to catch up on speaking time, but it creates doubt, a feeling of injustice or victimization among the population
,” adds the thirty-year-old.

Quentin Bataillon promises that this commission will not take the form of a “
trial
”.
“
I will remind them that pluralism is everyone’s business.
The subject is: how we choose between playing tape, reporting and guests on set.
When political guests don't go everywhere, we saw it for the Socialist Party which refuses to go to the CNews debate, it is a serious and democratic error.
Although I understand that some plateaus seem less favorable.
It is unfair compared to other parties.
What does it mean ?
That we are going to put very clean images of a Socialist Party meeting and the others will have to compete on a stage to take risks.
So, from the moment “Quotidien” goes into infotainment and chooses to go into politics, we have to go all the way and invite everyone.
Look at what comes out of it today: we have a National Rally that is victimizing itself
,” regrets the former advisor to the office of the Minister of Culture, Franck Riester.

“They are not serving the cause they think is laudable”
Quentin Bataillon with regard to the members of the show “Quotidien”
“
I want to send them a fairly friendly message to tell them that they need to be careful.
Their role is not to be anti-RN, that is not what we expect from TNT channels.
I think they're helping them more than anything else by doing that.
They do not serve the cause that they think is laudable
,” says Quentin Bataillon.
The president also spoke about his rapporteur
Aurélien Saintoul
, LFI deputy, whose partiality within this commission is contested.
His remark on Cyril Hanouna's salary appeared to be an inappropriate personal attack.
“
I do not want to speak ill of my colleague rapporteur, his role is important, but each time we go too far in substance or in form, in the end, we do not achieve our objective.
This is one of the lessons of this commission.
Anything excessive is insignificant.
We must be careful not to victimize those we receive.
When it’s off topic, I have no trouble cutting it off or saying it again afterwards
,” assures Quentin Bataillon, who also affirms that his commission is not a “
witch hunt
.”
