There is not only one for Louis XIV in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (Yvelines).
Until April 14, the Royal Armory offers the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Louis XIII through a dive into images and special effects.
The duration of its programming and the very significant resources allocated to its production make this original creation one of the highlights of the city's cultural agenda in 2024.
Through this show, it is a question of making the history of this sovereign better known, closely linked to that of Saint-Germain, the town where he took up residence.
“Highlighting the city’s historical heritage and promoting access to culture for all are the two objectives of our policy,” explains deputy mayor for culture Benoît Battistelli.
It is in this context that we wanted to introduce Louis XIII.
