A
Naval Prefecture agent was murdered
this Monday night in an
attempted robbery in Lomas de Zamora
, in the south of the Buenos Aires suburbs.
The victim was approached by at least three criminals who, in their attempt to steal the truck, shot him, causing his death.
The prefect, identified as
Rafael Carlos Loira
, was traveling aboard his Renault Duster through Mario Bravo and Bucharest, on the border between the towns of Villa Centenario and Villa Fiorito.
He was making a distribution
, because in parallel to his work in that force he managed a family grocery store.
There he was surprised by the thieves, who
shot him repeatedly
and then fled along Camino Presidente Juan Domingo Perón (better known as Camino Negro) towards the City of Buenos Aires.

Patricia Bullrich

“We are going to go after them.
“All those responsible are going to pay for what they did,” Bullrich warned at the end of his message.
I deeply regret the murder of Prefect Rafael Carlos Loira.
To support his family he had his grocery store and was making a distribution.
He confronted three criminals and they shot him.
