Accustomed to working in his rural general practitioner practice in Songeons (Oise), Xavier Lambertyn will officiate on the historic 17th century site, which will house the archery events, during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. A surprise for him , who was initially announced as a replacement doctor at the Grand Palais, which will host fencing and taekwondo.
He will ultimately be the starter and will supervise the archers.
The deadline is approaching, and the pressure is mounting for Xavier Lambertyn.
“It will go up again in April, when we receive the accreditations, I can’t wait to be there,” he admits.
