A deafening silence between Israel and the United States.
On Monday March 25, the latter abstained during the vote for an “immediate ceasefire” in Gaza at the UN Security Council, which remains a non-binding measure for Israel.
The United States had previously used its veto power to prevent resolutions calling for an end to the fighting from being adopted.
On the Israeli side, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant immediately reacted: “This withdrawal harms both war efforts and efforts to free the hostages, because it gives Hamas hope that international pressure will will make it possible to obtain a ceasefire without releasing our hostages.
» The rag seems to be burning between the two powers, while this Tuesday, the bombings continue in Gaza.
But is this really the sign of a radical change in relations between Israel and its staunch American ally?
