Baltimore bridge collapses after ship hit/social media
A bridge in the city of Baltimore collapsed tonight (Tuesday) after being hit by a cargo ship - as reported by media in the United States.
According to the reports, there were several vehicles on the bridge, which is about three meters long, when it was hit.
It was also reported that the authorities are working to remove seven people from the Patapasco River, into which the bridge collapsed.
The Transportation Authority of the state of Maryland, where Baltimore is located, announced following the collision that it was directing traffic to alternative routes.
