Things are bad for Fritz Wepper.

Now his wife Susanne Kellermann reveals how the cult actor spent his last days in the hospice.

These days, Fritz Wepper (82) is taking his final journey: The actor, known among others from the cult series “Derrick” and “For Heaven's Sake,” is currently in the hospice.

His health is considered to be extremely weakened after a number of setbacks in recent years (including several blood poisonings and cancer).

But the 82-year-old is lovingly cared for.

: "I hope that I will be called in time so that I can be with Fritz when it comes to an end." However, she is not waiting "for it, that it could happen at any minute.”

But the 49-year-old of course knows that it can happen at any time, even if the doctors don't dare make a prediction.

She has already said goodbye to Fritz Wepper twice: “This constant saying goodbye is a nightmare and makes me exhausted.

You don't become numb.

Every new time is terrible.” However, the Munich native always recovered, even though things were very bad for him at times.

The former “For Heaven’s Sake” star should now “have as much life as possible” in the hospice.

He lives in a bright, quiet room with a balcony and a view of nature.

He also receives other visitors there.

Although the Munich native's strength dwindles after just a few hours, he hasn't lost his sense of humor, says Kellermann: "He doesn't complain and we laugh together."

Recently, the cinema and TV great was even able to fulfill a modest heartfelt wish, because Fritz Wepper had asked for white sausages, pretzels and a beer - and got it.

“He was very happy about that,” reveals his wife.

According to the circumstances, she feels “sad and depressed” and “exhausted”.

The 82-year-old was particularly hard hit by the death of his beloved brother last year: Fritz wasn't even able to properly say goodbye to Elmar Wepper (†79).
