Prime Minister Gabriel Attal is invited to TF1's 8 p.m. news on Wednesday to speak on the budget and the labor market, the channel announced on Tuesday.
“The day after the publication of the latest INSEE figures, the Prime Minister will be questioned in particular on the question of the deficit
,” TF1 indicated in a press release.

“He will also reveal the government's latest decisions on labor and will speak on several current issues
,” added the channel.
INSEE revealed on Tuesday a budget deficit equivalent to 5.5% of GDP in 2023, i.e. 0.7 points more than the previous year, and 0.6 points more than initially forecast by the government.
The government warned in early March that the deficit would be
“significantly”
higher than its forecast of 4.9% of GDP.
