Greeted by applause in the great hall of the Federico II University, Emanuele Palumbo, aka Geolier, entered the university based in Scampia.
Wearing a blue sweater and a red cap with a visor on his head, Geolier immediately asked questions from the students in the room, around 500 of them, even if the room was not completely full.
"I'm happy - the beginning - I also feel honored to be here among you. In here I can't teach anyone anything, in fact I can only learn. It's not a lesson, but a chat between friends and I have a thousand fears and a thousand anxieties like you have them."
Then his judgment on Naples and the prejudices that accompany it.
"All the prejudices about Naples are wrong. The worst prejudice - he explains - that I have heard is the one about the watch, of those who come from Milan and ask to keep the necklace or the watch aside for them. They annoy me, they are stupid prejudices - continues Geolier -, because then we see that in the crime rankings Naples comes after many big cities.
Throughout the world there is a good side and a bad side. Naples is not just a bad side, it also has many good things".
